The PSD Board of Directors will host its business meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Swift Water Elementary School.
You are invited to apply to be on the Long Range Facilities Advisory Board for the Peninsula School District. Community members, staff, and individuals interested in facilities planning or in the facilities field are encouraged to apply for a two year commitment on the advisory board.
Applications will be accepted through March 31. Successful candidates will be notified by mid-April of their inclusion in the advisory board. Join us today, and let your voice be heard! Click here to apply.
The Varsity Letter in Community Service program honors high school students who volunteer their time and talents to uplift others in our community and region. In the 2022-2023 school year, we had 65 remarkable students who earned the Varsity Letter in Community Service. For 2023-24, students need to track their hours and submit their application by May 31, 2024.

This week our schools celebrate Read Across America Week! Read Across America is the nation’s largest celebration of reading! A program from the National Education Association, the celebration is held year-round and is highlighted annually in March. The program focuses on motivating children and teens to read through events, partnerships, and resources.
Our elementary schools are celebrating Peninsula Reads and Writes, with an array of literacy-promoting activities at our elementary schools. Our efforts continue to foster a love for reading and writing among learners of all ages.

Geographically, we are located across Puget Sound from the Seattle/Tacoma area and cover a 120 square-mile area on two peninsulas, the Gig Harbor Peninsula and Key Peninsula.
