Testing Schedule

• 2nd grade ITBS - All second grade students take the ITBS in the spring. This test is used as a screening test to see if students should take part in further testing. This test is also used as the academic measure for qualifying students into the program.
• Fall CogAT testing - CogAT testing for selected third graders and all new students in grades 4 through 8 is offered in October. We will be testing students September 29 through October 8th. Contact your local school to register for the testing.
• Spring CogAT testing - CogAT testing for new students and students who are eligible to retest is offered in March. Contact your local school in March to register for the testing.
• Summer CogAT testing - CogAT testing is also offered in August at the District Office for students new to Peninsula School District. Call the assessment office to register your child for the testing.
• Students can participate in the testing and qualifying procedures once yearly.
