The purpose of Naviance is to enable self-discovery, academic organization, college preparation, and career exploration. These services come in the form of;
The program encourages students to discover their interests and strengths and identify what their long-term goals are. Gradually, they are able to then establish a course of study–making their High School and Beyond Plan actionable. Additionally, Naviance also offers its services to students pursuing associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees by providing them with assistance and resources in order to succeed in completing their degrees.

An apprenticeship is a combination of on-the-job training and classroom instruction, all under the supervision of a journey-level professional. Apprentices are paid while they learn and are a stepping stone into a trade career. Apprentices who graduate from a state-registered program receive professional credentials that are recognized nationwide.

Learn about college in high school programs
Dual credit programs allow students to earn high school and college credit simultaneously. Students who earn college credits are more likely to graduate high school, enroll in college, and complete their degrees.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) Dual Credit offers high school students the opportunity to earn college credit for successful completion of CTE courses taught at their schools.
The Running Start programs allow 11th and 12th-grade students to take college courses at one of Washington's 34 community and technical colleges. Students can earn college credits and high school credits simultaneously.
The AP Program offers college-level courses and exams students can take in high school. AP courses help students earn college credits, save time and money, stand out on college applications, and more.
