Kindergarten Jumpstart

Kindergarten Jumpstart is a free program intended to give incoming Kindergarten students a jumpstart into school. Students will meet new friends, get to know the teachers, explore their school, and even take a practice school bus ride! Kindergarten Jumpstart is for children who have not had a formal preschool experience, families who are new to the school, first time Kindergarten parents, and/or children who might need a little help transitioning to the “big” school. Jumpstart takes place in August at each elementary school. Please check back later for registration information.

However, a child whose birthdate falls on or between September 1st and October 31st may enter Kindergarten if he or she meets the early entrance  requirements. Please click on the FAQs to learn more about the Early Entrance to Kindergarten process.
