At the Peninsula School District, we are excited to celebrate Technical Services and IT Staff Recognition Week from September 18 through September 22. This week provides us with a wonderful opportunity to express our gratitude and appreciation for the incredible work done by our dedicated team of IT and technical services staff.

National IT Professionals Day falls on September 19, and it's the perfect occasion to acknowledge the vital role played by our IT experts in ensuring the seamless integration of education technology into our district and schools. Their tireless efforts contribute significantly to the success of our educational programs, allowing us to innovate and empower both students and educators.

Meet some of our exceptional IT and Technical Services Team

Pablo Flores is a Desktop Support Technician that joined the PSD team for the 2023-2024 school year. He answers help desk calls for PSD staff and parents, troubleshoots issues with software and applications on our laptop devices, and uses critical thinking to improve how our staff use technology in the classroom. 

Outside of work, Pablo likes to spend time with family and play music with his latin music bands. 

Michael George is a Desktop Support Technician that joined the PSD team for the 2023-2024 school year. He helps staff, students, and parents troubleshoot their tech issues.  Most importantly, he helps make sure students can continue learning to the best of their ability with their technology. 

When he’s not at the help desk, Michael enjoys cooking, watching sports and playing video games. He also enjoys photography and helps the Peninsula High School athletic department record their home games.
