The annual high school football rivalry Fishbowl matchup between Gig Harbor High School and Peninsula High School will kick off at 7 pm on Friday, Feb. 19 from Roy Anderson Field with a broadcasted live stream and no spectators in attendance per COVID-19 safety protocols.

The community is invited to watch the game via live stream with a subscription to the NFHS Network. The game will also be broadcasted via KGHP-FM Radio. Please see the live stream game coverage section below for specific details.

It is kindly requested that all who wish to watch the Fishbowl game do so via live stream and refrain from coming to Roy Anderson Field as we provide a safe, healthy, and equitable high school football game environment. Thank you for your understanding.

Live Stream Coverage

The game will be streamed live on the NFHS Network, with the video stream starting at 6:45 pm ahead of the scheduled 7 pm game start time.

Peninsula School District high school sports video streams during the current school year, including football, soccer, and volleyball competitions during the current sports season, will be hosted via the NFHS Network. An account subscription to NFHS Network is required to access the stream, with two options available:

  • Monthly Subscription: $10.99/month - Billed monthly, can cancel anytime

  • Annual Subscription: $69.99/year - Billed annually, equal to $5.83/month

With no spectators allowed at the Fishbowl due to venue capacity limits per COVID-19 safety protocols, the NFHS stream service provides the ability to watch high school athletic competitions and offers a comparable financial cost to attending paid in-person events prior to the pandemic.

The live stream revenue for the Fishbowl will be split 50-50 between the GHHS and PHS ASB offices.

Additionally, KGHP-FM Radio will carry a radio broadcast of the game. Listen via radio or by visiting
