Key Peninsula Middle School (KPMS) staff and students got a glimpse of what their school building will look like after the renovations are complete when they were welcomed through the new main entrance of the building on Monday, Jan. 9. Student athletes were also treated to being the first to use the newly renovated gymnasium.
Students were given the chance to walk through the new front entrance of the building at the start of school and after school to head to their buses. Many students stayed behind after school to attend day one of tryouts for the KPMS girls volleyball team.
KPMS renovations are expected to be completed before the 2023-2024 school year. The renovations were funded by the 2019 Capital Projects bond.
