The Peninsula School District Board of Directors will be holding their December 10, 2020 regular meeting virtually at 6:00 p.m.
WHY IS THE BOARD MEETING BEING HELD VIRTUALLY?
On March 24, 2020, Governor Inslee signed Proclamation 20-28 regarding the Open Public Meetings Act and Public Records Act. It states: Any public agency, subject to RCW 42.30, is prohibited from conducting any meeting, subject to RCW 42.30 unless (a) the meeting is not conducted in-person and instead provides an option(s) for the public to attend the proceedings through, at minimum, telephonic access, and may also include other electronic, internet or other means of remote access, and (b) provides the ability for all persons attending the meeting to hear each other at the same time.
HOW CAN THE PUBLIC LISTEN TO OR WATCH THE VIRTUAL MEETING?
- Phone: Members of the public may listen to the meeting using the telephone by dialing (253) 215-8782 and entering webinar ID 934 3371 2194 and passcode 473057.
- Internet: Community members may view the live stream of the meeting on our School Board web page or PSD’s YouTube Channel.
HOW TO SUBMIT PUBLIC COMMENT:
- Verbal: Community members wishing to make public comment during the virtual meeting are asked to register in advance by 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Click here to register, then click "Join Meeting as an Attendee". Enter your information and click "Register". You will receive a link to the meeting via email.
- Written: Public comments may be submitted in writing by email to email@example.com or by mailing a hard copy to the Board of Directors at:
