The Peninsula School District Grab & Go meal service will continue through the summer to August 28, 2020.
PSD Grab & Go meal distributions were established in March to help support families during the public schools closure due to COVID-19. The current meal program was set to run through June 30 and the district has announced the program will extend through the summer.
Meals are free to all students ages 18 and under. Students do not need to qualify for free or reduced meals to receive a lunch, and no forms or registration are required.
Lunch is a 'grab and go' sack lunch style, with either a sandwich or wrap with fruit, vegetables, and milk. A breakfast offering (to enjoy the morning of the following day) is available to pick up at the time of the Grab & Go Hub or along an established meal delivery route. Weekend meal kits are also available on Fridays.
The following provides further information regarding Grab & Go hubs, bus route meal deliveries and weekend meal kits. The information is also available on the Nutrition Services web page.

PSD Weekend Meal Kits
The Peninsula SD is offering weekend meal kits to pick up on Fridays at meal hubs or along a meal route.
A weekend meal kit consists of 4 meals (2 breakfast and 2 lunches). Kits will be a mix of frozen and fresh food with guidance on what needs to be frozen and refrigerated along with cooking instructions.
The kit is in addition to the regular meal picked up on Fridays.
