We are currently experiencing technical issues with our phone voicemail systems in the Peninsula School District.
This morning we are prioritizing reestablishing voicemail systems for each school’s main phone line, principals’ phone lines, and Educational Service Center staff phone lines. Many are already reestablished, or will soon be reestablished later today.
We anticipate other voicemail inboxes will be restored by the end of this week.
At this time, phone calls to many PSD phones will continue to ring but not reach voicemail recordings to allow for leaving a voicemail.
If you previously left a message with a district phone line voicemail inbox, it may have been lost in the outage. If you are expecting a response and have not received one, please call again.
If you call a phone line that does not reach a voicemail, we kindly request you stay on the line for someone to answer, or call back at a later time. In lieu of not being able to leave voicemails we ask that, if possible, you send an email to the school or individual you are trying to reach. If you do not know the appropriate email address, please email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will direct the email to the appropriate contact.
The PSD Department of Learning & Innovation has a System & Network Status page that can be accessed here. Network and system outages and updates are reported to this page, and there is an option to subscribe to network alert updates via a button on the page.
We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and are actively working to resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience and cooperation with this matter.
