The Peninsula School District is pleased to recognize 32 high school students who have earned the Varsity Letter in Community Service during the 2019-2020 school year.

Since 2017, Peninsula School District has honored high school students who volunteer their time and talents to uplift others in our community and region.

The PSD high school students have dedicated over 5,200 hours of service to local organizations, including Food Backpack 4 Kids, St. Anthony’s Hospital, PenMet Parks, Peninsula Youth Wrestling, and Stand Up for Peninsula Schools.

Students completed at least 100 hours (reduced from 145 hours, due to COVID-19 closures) of community service and maintained at least a 2.5 GPA.

Recognition packets were mailed to students in June. Congratulations, students!

Interested students can begin working toward a Varsity letter in Community Service for the 2020-2021 school year. To find information about the program and requirements, please visit our Varsity Letter in Community Service website page.
