Peninsula School District is looking for community feedback on a proposed biology curriculum for grades 9-12 at an upcoming virtual Community Review and Feedback Session.

After nearly a year and a half of collaborative work, piloting in classrooms, and detailed review, the Biology Adoption Committee met for a final time and reached consensus on a curriculum recommendation.  

This recommendation went to the district’s Instructional Advisory Committee on April 5, and will have two readings before the school board on April 28 and May 26.  Additionally, the Department of Learning and Innovation will host two virtual Community Preview events via Zoom; 

• 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 21 
• 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4.
