On March 19, 2021, the Peninsula School District Board of Directors selected Krestin Bahr to be the district’s superintendent as of July 1, 2021.

Krestin Bahr brings over 34 years of experience as an educator. She began her career as a classroom teacher, became a principal and worked her way up to Director of Middle Schools and the Mt. Tahoma Regional Director for Tacoma Public Schools. Bahr earned her master’s degree at City University and her superintendent’s certification from Washington State University. She has been the Eatonville School District Superintendent since 2013. Bahr has been twice been nominated for the AASA Superintendent of the Year.

Bahr has been married for 36 years to her husband, Bryon. They have three grown children, and four grandchildren.
