International exchange students who come to the U.S. for a long-term visit with the intention of attending school may register to attend school in the Peninsula School District through a recognized international exchange program.
January 15th: Parents interested in hosting an international exchange student are encouraged to contact agencies on the WA State Approved Agency List.
February 1st: Application process begins for state approved agencies to apply for District acceptance.
April 1st: Agency Applications received by District.
April 15th: Agencies approved for placement.
May 15th: Exchange Student packets received by District
June 1st: Exchange Student packets approved by District and forwarded to high schools for placement.
Upon approval of the exchange student, host families must register the exchange student through the online New Student Registration.
