PENINSULA SCHOOL DISTRICT USER GROUP CLASSIFICATIONS: All community organizations and individuals seeking the use of school district facilities are divided into the following categories: District-Sponsored Activities: User groups within this category include school district-sponsored co-curricular activities, educational activities, Associated Student Body (ASB) events, PTA meetings, booster club activities, other district-recognized parent groups, district staff training, district-approved partnerships with board-approved agreements, and scheduled staff activities when approved by the building administrator. When facilities are used outside of standard available hours, or if additional supervision or cleaning is required, a fee will be charged to cover those costs.
LEVEL A: Non-profit community youth organizations & and social activity providers. (Examples Level A: Peninsula Youth Football, Harbor Soccer Club, Boy Scouts, Gig Harbor Little League, AAU, etc.) LEVEL B: Non-profit adult parks and recreation programs that are geographically based within the district. (Examples Level B: church adult sports leagues, adult orchestra, TCC – community education programs, etc.) LEVEL C: Other non-profit and public organizations. (Examples Level C: Rotary, Kiwanis, Eagles, Pierce County Council, HOA, TCC – credit classes, etc.) LEVEL D: Commercial, private or profit-making groups. (Examples Level D: dance studios, music shops, individuals, martial art studios, health clubs, etc.)
