BACK TO SCHOOL GUIDE 2025

Welcome Back!

Dear Peninsula School District Families,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! As we open our doors to another year of discovery and growth, I'm energized by the clear vision we share for our students' success and the bright possibilities that lie ahead.

Our Vision: Clear Pathways to Success

This year, we're sharpening our focus on what matters most – ensuring every student can envision their future and develop the tools to achieve their dreams. Our vision extends beyond academic excellence to encompass the whole child: curious learners, creative thinkers, compassionate community members, and confident individuals ready to navigate an ever-changing world.

As your superintendent, I invite you to be active participants in bringing this vision to reality. Attend school events, volunteer in classrooms, share your expertise, and most importantly, engage with your children about their learning journey. Your perspective and partnership are invaluable.

Together, let's make this a year where we work together to prepare every student for their future and help them develop the vision to see their potential, the courage to pursue their passions, and the skills to make their mark on the world.

Sincerely,

Krestin Bahr
Superintendent

  • At PSD Early Learning, our mission is to provide high-quality early childhood education that fosters the development of our youngest learners. We offer a variety of programs designed to meet the diverse needs of families, ensuring that every child has a strong foundation for future academic success.

We recognize the importance of early learning in the success of our students. Research shows that students who meet learning standards by 3rd grade are more likely to succeed as they continue in school and graduate prepared for college, career, and beyond.

PSD offers a range of early childhood programs to meet the needs of our youngest learners, including part-day and full-day options from Monday to Thursday, and full-day programs Monday to Friday. Each program has specific enrollment requirements.

To make enrollment easier for all families, parents can submit an “interest survey” to connect with the program that best fits their child’s needs. All programs are tuition-free for in-district residents.

The 2025-2026 Interest Survey is closed. The 2026-2027 survey will be out later in the school year. Please visit the Early Learning web page to learn more.
