Peninsula School District's Comprehensive School Counseling Program empowers students to develop mindsets and behaviors essential for success in social/emotional, academic, and career domains through a range of preventative and responsivedirect and indirect services.

Counseling Services:

  • Academic Planning: Guidance on course selection, graduation requirements, and post-secondary planning.
  • Social and Emotional Support: Individual and group counseling, conflict resolution, and crisis intervention.
  • College and Career Readiness: College application support, career exploration, and scholarship resources.
  • Parent and Family Engagement: Workshops, resources, and collaboration to support student success at home.

988 SUICIDE AND CRISIS LIFELINE LAUNCHES

On July 16 the United States transitioned to 988 as the easy-to-remember number to reach the existing National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. This is an unprecedented opportunity to expand and strengthen crisis care nationwide.
