To file your Declaration for the 2025-26 school year, please click this link here.
Washington State law supports parents and families who choose home-based instruction for their children. Per RCW 28A.200.011(1), parents must annually file a signed declaration of intent to homeschool by September 15 or within two weeks of any public school term start. This declaration should be filed with either the local school district superintendent or the superintendent of a nonresident district that accepts the transfer.
