We're excited to announce the first-ever Young Authors' Conference for middle school students on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Goodman Middle School! This event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and include many opportunities for inspiring young writers.

This special event will inspire creativity, literacy, and storytelling through:

• Interactive workshops with local authors

• Panels on the creative writing process

• Book sales and signings

• Writing activities and creative challenges

The conference is open to all students in grades 6-8 attending Peninsula School District schools, as well as homeschool and private school students who live within our district boundaries.

• Cost: $15, paid through your school's bookkeeper
