This October, Peninsula School District is proud to celebrate National Principals Month and recognize the incredible leaders who serve as the heartbeat of our schools.
Our principals, assistant principals, and deputy principals lead instruction, build positive school cultures where students thrive, ensure safety, and partner with families every single day. Their dedication is evident from early morning bus greetings to evening attendance at games and events, as they support students in both the big moments and the quiet ones.
"They show up with resilience, empathy, and high expectations, even when the days get tough," says Superintendent Krestin Bahr. "Their leadership helps shape our kids' futures in profound ways."
How You Can Show Appreciation
We encourage staff members, parents, students, and community partners to take a moment this month to express their gratitude to the principal or assistant principal of your school. Whether through a note, email, or face-to-face conversation, let them know the difference they make.
To all our school leaders across our elementary, middle, and high schools: thank you. We see you, we're grateful for you, and we couldn't do this work without you.
