Peninsula High School and Gig Harbor High School Recognized Among Nation’s Best

The Peninsula School District is excited to share that both Peninsula High School and Gig Harbor High School were recognized in the 2025-2026 U.S. News & World Report Best High School rankings.
Peninsula High School is placed in the top 26% of all ranked schools across the nation, and ranks in the top quarter of all ranked high schools in Washington state. Gig Harbor High School earned a spot in the top 40% of ranked schools nationwide. In Washington, Gig Harbor ranked in the top 37% statewide.
This recognition reflects the hard work happening in our schools every day. Both Peninsula High School and Gig Harbor High School demonstrate;
