We are thrilled to announce that seven Peninsula School District schools have been honored through the 2024-2025 Washington State School Recognition Program! This prestigious recognition, awarded by the State Board of Education (SBE), the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), and the Educational Opportunity Gap Oversight and Accountability Committee (EOGOAC), celebrates schools demonstrating exceptional progress in student success.

For the 2024-2025 school year, only 16% of schools statewide received recognition, making this achievement even more significant. Schools can be recognized in three categories:
- Closing Gaps: Schools making significant progress in areas previously identified for improvement
- Growth: Schools with student groups showing some of the state's largest annual gains across multiple measures
- Achievement: Schools with the state's highest performance in key areas while maintaining high performance across all student groups
Each school will receive a banner to proudly display. These recognitions reflect the dedication of our incredible educators, the hard work of our students, and the supportive partnership with our families and community. We invite you to join us in celebrating this remarkable achievement that showcases the exceptional quality of education happening daily in our schools.
