Three PSD schools awarded two art grants for 2022-2023 school year

Three Peninsula School District elementary schools have been awarded two different art instruction grants for special teacher training in the 2022-2023 school year.

Discovery, Minter Creek, and Purdy elementary schools were awarded the Washington State Arts Commission Creative Start Pre-3rd PD-Grant and a grant from the Gig Harbor Arts Commission.

Join the Summer Satellit Academy this year and earn CTE credits

Want to get a jumpstart on high school credits? If you or your student is interested in career and technical education, consider joining the Summer Satellite Academy this year. 

Summer Satellite Academy is a partnership with West Sound Tech Skills Center and the Peninsula School District. The program is free for incoming 9th - 12th graders looking to earn high school credits and career skills over the summer.
